Shares of Kyivstar Group Ltd. surged 17% on Monday, their second day of trading after the Veon Ltd. subsidiary went public Bloomberg Terminal by merging with a special-purpose acquisition company. The stock, which trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker KYIV, more than made up losses from its first day of trading.
